Kimball Tomato Ketchup Bottle

Sambal Brinjals

2 long brinjals, cut into 4 each
Sprinkle some salt over cut brinjals
Some mint leaves for garnishing

Blended Ingredients
14 dried chilies, soak till soft, drain
6 shallots
3 cloves garlic
1 thumbsized shrimp paste
(blend till fine)

4 tbsp Kimball Tomato Ketchup
1 tbsp sugar

Serving: 4
1) Fry brinjals in a heavy base frying pan, single layer with some oil till lightly brown on both sidez and tender in the inside. Place onto a serving plate.
2) Heat 4 tablespoon oil and fry blended ingredients until fragrant. add in tomato sauce, sugar and mixed well.
3) Spoon fried sambal onto brinjals and serve it with some mint leaves on top of it.
